Garden State Cleaning Co.
1. Payment Authorization and Billing Terms
By booking a service with Garden State Cleaning Co., the client authorizes Garden State Cleaning Co. to securely store a payment method on file through our online booking platform.
To verify payment availability and secure the scheduled appointment, a temporary authorization hold may be placed on the card approximately six (6) days prior to the scheduled service date. If the authorization fails and the payment method is not updated, Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to cancel the appointment. Clients may receive notice prior to cancellation when possible.
All completed services are automatically charged to the payment method on file approximately one (1) hour after service completion unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
All payments must be made through our secure online booking system. Cash, checks, or third-party payment applications (including Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App) are not accepted unless explicitly approved in writing by Garden State Cleaning Co.
Failure to maintain a valid payment method or failure to remit payment for completed services may result in additional fees, collections activity, cancellation of future appointments, and/or legal action.
2. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
Clients may reschedule appointments without penalty when the request is made more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled service time.
Rescheduling requests made within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a $25 rescheduling fee. Same-day booking requests are excluded from rescheduling fees.
Cancellations made within one hundred twenty (120) hours (five days) of the scheduled appointment time will incur a cancellation fee equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total booking price.
Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to charge any applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees to the payment method on file.
3. Pricing Adjustments
The quoted price is based on the information provided by the client at the time of booking.
Pricing is subject to adjustment if additional work is required due to:
- An increase in the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, office spaces, or other service areas
- A larger square footage than originally disclosed
- Excessive buildup, neglect, or cleaning conditions significantly worse than originally described
- Additional requested services or add-ons not included in the original booking
Any pricing adjustments will be communicated to the client before completion of the service whenever reasonably possible. The client agrees to pay all adjusted charges upon completion of service.
4. Client Representation and Safety of Premises
By booking a service, the client represents and warrants that the property is reasonably safe and suitable for cleaning personnel to perform services.
Clients agree that the property is free from:
- Active pest infestations
- Hazardous materials or biohazards
- Dangerous mold conditions
- Aggressive or unsecured animals
- Unsafe working environments or illegal activity
Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service if unsafe or hazardous conditions are present.
5. Access to Property
Clients are responsible for ensuring cleaners have timely and unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled appointment time.
If service providers are unable to access the property, Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to cancel the appointment and charge applicable cancellation fees.
6. Service Limitations and Satisfaction Policy
Garden State Cleaning Co. strives to provide high-quality professional cleaning services. However, we do not guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odors, discoloration, buildup, or damage caused by long-term neglect, permanent surface damage, or conditions beyond normal cleaning scope.
Clients should report service concerns within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion so we may review and address the issue when appropriate.
7. Right to Refuse Service
Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if:
- The property condition materially differs from the original booking information
- The environment is deemed unsafe or unsanitary
- The client behaves abusively, threateningly, or inappropriately toward staff or contractors
- Payment authorization cannot be obtained
8. General Reliability and Account Standing
Repeated cancellations, failed payment methods, excessive rescheduling, communication failures, or no-show situations may result in restricted booking privileges or refusal of future services.
Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to decline future appointments at its sole discretion.
9. Non-Circumvention
Clients agree not to directly solicit, hire, contract with, or otherwise engage any cleaner, contractor, or service provider introduced through Garden State Cleaning Co. outside of the company for a period of twelve (12) months following the client’s most recent service date.
Violation of this provision may result in liquidated damages of $100 per occurrence, which the client agrees represents a reasonable estimate of damages resulting from circumvention.
10. Agreement to Terms
By scheduling a service, submitting booking information, or maintaining a payment method on file, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
11. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and Garden State Cleaning Co. regarding the services provided and supersede all prior discussions, understandings, or agreements, whether written or oral.
