Garden State Cleaning Co.
1. Deposit and Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total service cost is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment.
The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service. Failure to make the final payment may result in additional fees and/or legal action for non-payment.
All payments must be made via credit card through our secure online booking system. Cash, checks, or third-party payment apps (e.g., Venmo, Zelle) are not accepted unless explicitly authorized in writing.
2. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
Clients may reschedule their appointment at no additional cost if the request is made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the scheduled service.
Rescheduling requests made on the same day as the scheduled service will incur a $25 rescheduling fee due before the new appointment is confirmed.
Cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, as all deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Clients are encouraged to reschedule rather than cancel to avoid loss of their deposit.
3. Pricing Adjustments
The quoted price is based on the information provided by the client at the time of booking.
Pricing is subject to change if additional work is required due to:
- An increase in the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, or office spaces.
- A larger total square footage than initially disclosed.
- The property being in significantly worse condition than originally described during the initial consultation.
Any additional charges will be communicated to the client prior to service completion. The client agrees to pay any adjusted pricing before the final payment is due.
4. Client Representation – Safety of Premises
By booking a cleaning, the client represents and warrants that the premises are free from active pest infestations, unsecured pets, hazardous materials, biohazards (including mold), and other dangerous conditions that may pose a risk to cleaning personnel. Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any service where such conditions are present, and the deposit will be forfeited in such cases.
5. Access to Property
The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible at the scheduled service time. If cleaners are unable to access the property, the service may be canceled, and the deposit forfeited.
6. Service Guarantee Disclaimer
While we strive to provide high-quality cleaning services, Garden State Cleaning Co. does not guarantee complete removal of all stains, odors, or buildup, especially those caused by long-term neglect or damage.
7. Right to Refuse Service
Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to refuse service if a property is deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or significantly misrepresented during booking. In such cases, the deposit will not be refunded.
8. General Reliability
Repeated cancellations, late arrivals, or communication failures may result in limited eligibility for future bookings. Garden State Cleaning Co. reserves the right to decline future service requests from clients with a history of unreliability.
9. Non-Circumvention
All bookings must be made directly with Garden State Cleaning Co. Clients agree not to solicit or hire any cleaning professional introduced through our platform for direct or private services outside of Garden State Cleaning Co. for a period of twelve (12) months following their last service date. Any violation of this policy will result in a penalty of $100 per occurrence, which the client agrees to pay as liquidated damages.
10. Agreement to Terms
By submitting a deposit or making full payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined herein.
11. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and Garden State Cleaning Co. regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, whether written or oral.
